Who We Are

Lake of Bays Mission Church is a small congregation located in beautiful Muskoka, in Near Northern Ontario. We are located in a rural setting only 30 minutes from the west gate of Algonquin Park, which provides a peaceful and tranquil place to worship the Lord. We are a Bible based group that believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sins. We believe the Bible is the inspired of God. We are a warm and welcoming group who all get involved in different aspects of ministry. We enjoy meals together after the service on most Sundays. This gives us the opportunity to know each other well and to follow the command to weep and rejoice with one another. Rom. 12:15

We are involved in the Dwight/Dorset area as the host for ‘Community Gardens’ on our property. There are 12 raised garden beds measuring 4 feet by 4 feet in an enclosed area protected from wildlife. We enjoy 12 weeks of Bible Study in the summer months and also hold men’s breakfasts once a month from May to September.

Our Prayers and Squares group is flourishing outreach ministry where quilters gather to design and sew prayer quilts for those who need prayers and comfort.
